9 Operating Tips 1 . Disc harge snow downwin d whenever possible. Slight ly ov erla p each previously c leared path. 2. Lif ting up on th e handle will a llow the rub ber on the augers to pro pel the snow thr ow er for ward. 10 Shave Plate 1 . T o chec k the adjustm ent of the shave plate, place the unit on a level sur face. The wheel s, shav e plate and augers sh ould all cont act level surfac e.
