I sometimes see a wor d in brackets, such as “<thank>.” What do the brackets mean? At times, the captioning ser vice may make a correction in the written captions. The corrected w ord(s) ar e display ed in brackets. There ma y be a dela y between the wr ong wor d(s) and the cor rection. The captions seem delayed. This ma y happen occasion[...]

The handset volume is not loud enough for me. Slide the control up to increase the v olume coming through the handset. Press the button to tur n on the v olume boost. Check the slide to make sure it is set to the lev el that is best for y ou (see Adjusting the Sound on page 11). Y ou may notice a decr ease in volume when another phone on an e xtens[...]

Nothing is happening with my CapT el phone. No power , no lights, no dial tone. The pow er suppl y may hav e been disr upted.
