11 Leveling the Ice Maker It is important for the ice maker to b e leveled in order to work properly . It can be raised or lowered by rotating the plastic sheaths around e ach of the four ro lling casters on the bottom of the machine. 16 Harvest: During the harvest cycle the compressor is still operating, but the water pump has stopped. Two other components have been energized: the hot gas valve and the water inlet valve. 18 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE If the ice maker is left unused for a long time, before the next use it m ust be thoroughly cleaned. Follow carefully any instructions provided for cleaning or use of sanitizing solution. Do not leave any solution inside the ice maker after cleaning. 19 Exterior Cleaning The door and cabinet may be cleaned with a mild de ter gent and warm water so lution such as 1 oz of dishwashing liquid mixed with 2 gallons of warm wate r . 20 Interior Cleaning The ice storage bin should be sanitized occasio n ally. Clean the bin before the ice maker is used for the first time and reused after stopping fo r an extended period of tim e.
