Belt Replacement Auger Belt T o remove and repl ace your snow thrower ’ s auger b elt, pr oceed as foll ows: T o prevent spillag e, place a piece of p lastic wr ap under the gas cap an d tighten secur ely . Remove the b elt fro m around the aug er pulley, and slip the bel t bet ween the sup por t bracket and th e auger pul ley . See Fig . 7 -5.
