5 UNDERSTANDING THE LIGHTS Armed Light The armed light is “on” when the system is armed. The armed li ght is “off” when it is disarmed. 7 KEYPAD FUNCTIONS ARMING YOUR SYSTEM IN THE “AWAY” MODE AWAY is used when the user is away from the premi se and wants the interior protected.
