9 CONNECTING TOOL TO POWER SOURCE POWER CONNECTIONS A separate electrical circuit should be used for your tools. This cir cuit should not be less than #12 wire and should be protected with a 20 Amp time lag fuse. Make sure your extension cord is in good condition and is a 3-wir e extension cord which has a 3-prong gr ounding type plug and a 3-pole r eceptacle which will accept the tool’ s plug. 12 SPINDLE SPEEDS Five spindle speeds of 620, 1100, 1720, 2340 and 3100 RPM are available.
