If it is desired to connect ext ernal power amplifiers, use Phono/RCA leads connected to the 7 .1 Preamp Outputs on the rear panel. The 55 1R has 4 HDMI (High Definition Multi-Media Interface) inputs and one HDMI output. HDMI is a fully digital audio/video syst em for picture and audio in digital format for best possible picture q uality.
