Replacing the Fuse The cigarette lighter plug contains a 1-ampere fuse to protect it from power surges. 1. T o replace the fuse, unscrew the top of the plug. 2. Operation Y ou are now ready to enjoy the convenience and security of your GPSRD. V olume Control Adjust the V olume to a comfortable alarm tone level for your vehicle. The volume level does not have any ef fect on the unit’ s sensitivity . False Area In highly populated areas, you may encounter many devices that use the same frequencies as radar signals, such as motion detectors, automatic doors, and intrusion alarms.
