Programming Channels Before you can scan, you must program the channels within a bank. You can store one frequency per channel, up to 500 channels. Locking Out Channels The lock-out feature lets you further customize the channels that you want to scan at a particular time. Changing the Frequency Step The frequency step is the minimum space between frequencies in the Manual or Search Mode.
