Remov e adaptor A from unit by sliding sideways (Fig. 4 ). 3. Extend either side of the hose (Fig. 5) and screw the hose to adaptor A (Fig. 6) . 4. Extend the other side of the hose and screw it to adaptor B (Fig. 7). 5. Slide the assembly onto unit (Fig. 8). 6. Affix the adaptor B into the window slider kit and seal. However, if you require stale or smokey air to be removed from the room, hook up the duct accessories as described in the "EXHAUSTING HOT AIR" section. 1. Screw a suitable length of hose onto this connector . Place the open end into a suitable drain, and mak e sure there are no kinks in the hose. Clean your air conditioner occasionally to keep it looking new . Be sure to unplug the unit before cleaning to prevent shock or fire hazards. The "Cool" circuit has an automatic 3 minute time delayed start if the unit is turned off and on quickly . This prevents ov erheating of the compressor and possible circuit breaker tripping.
