T 99 Type 99 tone decode - On indicates Ty pe 99 tone decoding is enabled on the se- lected channel. Flashing indicates a T99 selective call has been received and the radio must be reset to receive another T99 call. TX Transmitter enabled - On when the r adio is transmitting. ALERT TONE S The M-P A uses aler t tones or "beeps" to indicate various operating conditions. Aler t tones may be ena bled or di sabled via the menu mod e if th e "ALER T" f eatur e is programm ed.
